So I have been back for 17 days....

...and things are still a bit depressing. I wonder how long this takes to wear off? It's all in the mind Cara!

On a slightly more positive note I attended the Sound Relief concert at the MCG with my old friend Dave and that was awesome! I saw Crowded house, Hunters and Collectors and Midnight Oil live for the first (and probably last) time! There were many more acts that played at the concert but these three classic Australian rock bands reformed for the concert and were wonderful, as was the atmosphere when 80,000 people sung along to some of the most famous songs in Australian music history. As Australian as veggiemite, BBQs and multiculturalism. Photos soon....as soon as I am not overwhelmingly apathetic and a can be bothered to put them up!

A rare sighting of the Cara raiding the fridge.

Hi Cara,

Welcome back. Know what you mean about settling, in fact just ask Julie after she was away for only 8 weeks. That said, I will always think of OZ as the best place in the world. Other parts are good to visit.

And what's this about 'old' Dave. From my perspective he is still a young handsome lad.

You take care out there!

Old and Grumpy....
