Cat, Kim and I went to the Palace theater built in 1927. It's a nice venue, probably my favourite in Melbourne because it is smaller and has good acoustics.
We saw supporting acts Lisa Mitchell who has an interesting whispy voice. She seemed to be absolutely honoured to be playing at the Palace, its nice to feel that someone appreciates an opportunity.
The second supporting act was Eric Hutchinson who has risen to popularity on Australian radio with his hit “Rock & Roll”. For me he was a ‘you know the song but now the artist’. He was a fantastic performer, one of the best I’ve ever seen. He was enthusiastic but not over the top and engaged the audience immediately.

hey..I love Jason Mraz and also Eric Hutchinson...good music!
I have sunflowers, arugula, lettuce, tomatoes, parsley, thyme, etc, sprouting in little seedy bins in the back yard, as well as a compost structure like none other, thanks to Steve, the organic gardening specialist...
Saw Paul and Gary in Guys and Doll's last Friday, opening night with Allie...it was fun...
When are you coming here?
Izzy and the cats say hi!
